Make Tiny Tweaks With me
I don’t know when or where it happened, but somewhere along the line I became convinced that change happens one gigantic leap at a time. Whenever I find myself thinking this way, pressure starts to keep me stuck in fear. It’s like living in quicksand. And I know it’s not just me because of the struggles you share in our conversations. I’m listening.
That’s why I created Make Tiny Tweaks. I had to do something about this overwhelming feeling of stuck-ness we feel. It’s so distracting! Even worse it points us towards the pretense of perfection and away from the messy, gorgeous reality of connecting in conversations about race. Not cool.
How it works: I’ll send you a quick, personal note via email filled with honest stories and tiny steps to help you create more connection in your life. Totally free. No strings. Every morning.
I’m here to walk with you, instead of judging you. You are not alone. Want it? Click the button below.
Full disclosure: This wasn’t my plan. At no point during law school, grad school, or working as a judicial law clerk did I think to myself: I’m going to design conversations about race that create connection and belonging for a living. (More on that here.) My path was filled with unexpected twists and turns.
So I spent a lot of time feeling weird. Like I couldn’t figure out how to fit myself into the expectations I had for my life. I felt alone in my journey. Very, very alone. It doesn’t have to be this way. Because the truth is that it was never just me. I just thought it was.
Some gifts we only discovery by walking through the dark. But you don’t have to go it alone. I’m here to walk beside you. Click the button to get my Brave Notes each morning. Our stories grow stronger when we know we’re not alone.
