It happens to all of us.

We find ourselves inundated by information everywhere, all the time, and in the process of trying to keep up, we forget to carve out time to be still. Time to listen to our own voice, as we check in with our own hearts and minds.

When you feel like you can’t hear your own voice, resist the urge to add more to your plate.

 
 

Instead, carve out five minutes on your commute, during your shower, or as you eat a meal to sit with your own thoughts. And as you listen to yourself, notice which conversations you’re craving, notice what you’d love to learn more about, notice what you’d like to shift, tweak, or do differently.

When you feel like you can’t hear your own voice, your voice might be asking you to set aside a moment to be still.
